Montgomery County Pct 5 Vacation Watch

Precinct 5 provides a courtesy vacation watch program while you are away. Please keep in mind to properly secure your home and belongings out of sight and notify your neighbor, friend or family member of your absence. This service is not intended for vacant homes, houses for sale or hospital (indefinite) stays. It is available to residents who plan to be away from their home for at least three days, with a maximum of 30 days.

When you are planning to go on vacation, we want to help you feel more secure and safe by offering this FREE service. Our hope is to provide you with peace of mind and comfort while away from home. While out on patrol, our deputies will periodically check on your residence to ensure your property is secure. In the event a situation does arise, we will take all appropriate action necessary. Citizens living within our precinct simply need to complete and submit this online form. Please note we can only provide service to those located in Justice of the Peace Precinct 5 coverage area. If you are planning a vacation, don’t forget to keep us informed. Vacation watch requests need to be submitted by noon on the business day prior to departure to ensure deputies receive them in time to fulfill your request.
