This year Magnolia Independent School District and Whataburger will partner up and acknowledge the SRO’s that works so diligently within our schools. Every month they will select a SRO to receive a Yeti Whataburger cup with a gift card; as well as, a plague at the monthly school board meeting.
We are proud to honor these deputies and appreciate their dedication and commitment in helping keep our children, the staff and community of each school safe!
September
For the month of September they selected Officer Perkins with Smith Elementary and Bear Branch Junior High’s Officer Tally! Congratulations to you both!
October
In October the two SRO’s that were acknowledged were Officer Masden with Lyon Elementary and Sgt. Brown with Magnolia Jr. High, we would like to say Congratulations to them both!
November
For the month of November; Sgt, Park with Bear Branch Intermediate and Officer Brummett with Ellisor Elementary were the two chosen, thank you gentlemen and congratulations!
December
During December; Deputy Epperson with Magnolia Intermediate , Deputy Jones with Nichols Sawmill Elementary; as well as Lt Carley were all chosen as SRO of the Month. Congratulations to the three of you!
January
The year started off recognizing two Magnolia High School SRO’s; Deputy White and Deputy Johnson. Congratulations to these two on a job well done.
February
This month we highlight two Magnolia West High School SRO’s. Deputy Edelman and Deputy Justice your work for the school and keeping our children safe doesn’t go unnoticed. Congrats!
