On September 7, 2025, Constable Jones’ Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the 29606 block of Highland Blvd. The male driver was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics (methamphetamine) and wanted out of Harris county for DWI. After lying about his name, the male was placed in custody for possession of a controlled substance, Tampering with Evidence, fail to identify fugitive, and his warrant. He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On September 9, 2025, Constable Jones’ Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the 29400 block of Post Oak Run. The male driver was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics (methamphetamine) and wanted out of Montgomery County. The male was placed in custody for possession of a controlled substance and his warrants. He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On September 11, 2025, Constable Jones’ Deputies conducted multiple traffic stops at the Rabon Chapel and FM 2854 area. Several individuals were found to be in possession of illegal narcotics (methamphetamine) and wanted out of Montgomery County. The suspects were placed in custody for possession of a controlled substance and warrants. They were transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
Justice has been served for four juvenile victims that were sexually exploited by Daniel Hicks a 28 year old man from Vermont. This case was initiated in 2021 by a Montgomery County PCT 5 ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) Investigator and turned into a lengthy multi-jurisdictional investigation alongside Homeland Security and the FBI. After charges were accepted in Federal Court, Hicks ultimately pleaded guilty to two counts of production of child pornography and one count of coercion and enticement of a minor. Hicks was sentenced to 25 years in Federal Prison by US District Judge George C. Hanks Jr. and Hicks will also serve 10 years of supervised release following completion of his prison term. The Montgomery County Precinct 5 Constables and their ICAC Investigator will continue to target, locate and arrest predators like Hicks that seek out and prey on our children.
The Precinct 5 Constables ICAC Detective takes down another child predator. John Matthew Emerson, a 42 year old man from Tyler Texas was arrested last August for “Online Solicitation of a Minor” after sending pictures and attempting to meet a 14 year old girl in the Magnolia area. Emerson pleaded guilty receiving 15 years in a State Jail but the investigation did not stop there. On August 20, 2025 a United States District Court accepted charges for “Possession of and Access with Intent to View Child Pornography” after forensics were completed on Emerson’s phone and computer. Emerson will now have his day in Federal Court for possessing images of children as young as 11 years old. The Montgomery County ICAC Task Force along with State and Federal partners are dedicated to keeping our children safe by hunting these predators everyday.
On September 17, 2025, Constable Jones’ Deputies conducted a Warrant Service near the 21120 block of FM 1774. A Male was located that had a Felony Warrant for Strangulation. The Male was placed into custody and was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
